Student Spotlight Kate Kipping, Hunter Fees, and Whitney Orndorff Kate Kipping, Hunter Fees, and Whitney Orndorff are the featured M.O.C. students this week. The M.O.C. pro- gram has been in place for many years within the Carlisle School District, and this year, there are 28 high school senior students who are participating in the work release portion of the program. Carlisle High School appreciates the partnerships with Maurices, Sears, and Carlisle Schools, and their support of the M.O.C. program. Kate's supervisor is Amie Hall, Store Manager. Kate has worked at Maurices for a few years and has gained a lot of valuable experience. She has learned how to manage a store and all of the work that goes into it, as well as learning selling tips that are essential in the retail environment. Kate plans to major in Marketing at Iowa State University, and her work ex- perience that she has gained throughout high school re- lates directly to this field. Whitney Orndorff spends her time working with el- ementary students during their musm classes. Whitney's supervisor is Kristine Hill, Carlisle Elementary Music teacher. Whitney has a passion for music and enjoys working with students and helping them out. After high school, Whitney plans to attend DMACC then Iowa State and earn a degree in humhn services. Hunter has learned the value of customer service and how to help those who come to the store with whatever needs they may have. His experience has also improved his level of comfort when talking with people he doesn't know. Hunter plans to attend ITT Tech and major in Computer Network and Systems Manager.
