Thursday, May 26, 2011 The Carlisle Citizen Page Five Middle River Friends VBS Program Begins May 31 All children in the com- munity age 3 through completion of fifth grade are invited to attend PandaMania Vacation Bible School at Middle River Friends Church. We are located on Highway S- 23 just east of Carlisle. This exciting VBS is sched- uled for Tuesday, May 31, Wednesday, June 1, Thurs- day, June 2, and Friday, June 3, from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm, and Saturday, June 4 from 9:00 am to 11:15 am. At PandaMania, children will discover just how wild God is about them. We have a team of over 20 vol- unteers who will help your child discover God's love through hands on, interac- tive Bible stories in small group sessions, learn so- cialization through activity centers, play recreational games, view Chadder's movie adventures and re- call the day's lesson with their own God sightings, munch on yummy snacks themed for the day's lesson, sing lively songs, make cre- ative crafts, and have tons of Panda fun. There is no cost to attend this VBS. However, it helps us to plan ahead with enough supplies and food if you would contact us in ad- vance to let us know the number of children attend- ing. We will take up an offer- ing each day, all of which will be sent to our Mission- aries Brad and Chelsea Carpenter in Rwanda. We're arranging a Skype transmission where the children will be able to speak directly with the Carpenters so they can meet our missionaries in person and learn about their mission field. Check out our church website: www.middleriver friends.org for a map and directions to the church. Or, if you would like more information please call Bobbie Wheeldon, 515-989- 9232, or Colleen Gerhards, 515-867-9454. Come to PandaMania - where God is wild about you!!
