Construction at the Marina Cove Recreation Area is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 20, 2010 which will cause some minor impacts to recreational opportuni- ties at the facility. The Volksweg Trail will be closed from the Marina Cove entrance road to approximately 1 mile east (please see map for location). Additionally, earth moving trucks will be traveling to and from the Marina Cove onto county highway G-28, possibly creating some traffic de lays in the Marina Cove area and on G-28. The Sunday School kick off for ages 3 years through 12 grade will begin at 10:30 a.m. for Sonshine Singer Wor- ship. Sunday School class is from 10:45 - 11:30. Presbyterian News Community United Presbyterian Church is collecting food for the CCA Food Pantry operated a~ Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Carlisle. Items needed for Septem- ber are pancake syrup, paper towels, peanut butter and pepper. The Mission Committee will distribute recognition gro- cery bags on October 3 to commemorate World Commun- ion Sunday. Project Care Packages are being sent each month to our known soldiers serving in the military. Items needed this month are Batteries, AA, AAA, C.
