If so, please contact, 515.402.1008. We are needing pumpkins, gourds, summer squash, etc. to decorate with Downtown for our celebration. Law Agencies Combine Forces For Traffic Enforcement Over Labor Day Several area law enforcement agencies combined for a joint traffic enforcement project over the Labor Day week- end. Funded by the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau, of- ricers from the Carlisle and Norwalk Police Departments, Polk and Warren County Sheriffs Offices, and the Iowa State Patrol, conducted a speed and OWI enforcement cam- paign on Sept. 4th, concentrating on the Highway 5 corri- dor through Warren County and Highway 65 north of Indianola and into Polk County. For Warren County, officers netted 50WI arrests; 2 additional OWI tests without charges; 2 driving on sus- pended license citations; 2 possession of controlled sub- stance arrests; I citation for open container and 1 for pos- session of alcohol underage. One person was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant from Des Moines and an additional 53 warnings or citations were issued for speed and equipment violations. The Warren County Sheriffs Office will continue to place additional officers out for traffic enforcement through-out the month at various spots in the county. Additional combined agency projects are planned for the rest of the year and into 2011. How's Your Pumpkin Growing???
