RESOLUTION 10-352 ACCEPT VETERAN AFFAIRS OFFICE RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby accepts the resignation of John Culbertson from the Veterans Affairs Office, effective January 1, 2011, and to remove from payroll. WHEREAS, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby appoints Kathy Fensterman as Director of Veteran's Affairs, effective January 1, 2011. Car- ried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10- 353 APPROVE VETERAN'S AFFAIRS PART TIME EMPLOYEE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves hiring William F. Hitsman as a part-time employee effective Octo- ber 18, 2010, thru December 31,2010, at the hourly rate of $8.00 for training purposes of County Operations of Veterans Affairs Office. Carried unani- mously RESOLUTION 10-354 APPROVE STEP INCREASE FOR BRAD GRISMORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the step increase from Grade 4, Step 5 to Grade 4 Step 6 for Brad Grismore, effective October 21, 2010, at the rate of $14.30 per hour. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-355 APPROVE TREASURER'S NEW HIRE MELANIE MCCOMBS BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Treasurer's Office new hire Melanie McCombs effective Octo- ber 28, 2010, at the rate of $12.00 per hour with full benefits and with a satisfactory background check and six month probationary period. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-356 APPROVE TREASURER'S NEW HIRE TAMARA JORGENSEN BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Treasurer's Office new hire Tamara K. Jorgensen, effective October 20, 2010, at the rate of $12.00 per hour as a temporary full-time employee through December 31, 2010, with full benefits, and a satisfactory background check and six month probationary period. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-357 APPROVE ABATEMENT OF MOBILE HOME TAXES 91W205616 BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91W205616, in the amount of $544.00 plus all accrued interest be abated, and; BE IT RE- SOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91AA66189, in the amount of $74.00 plus all accrued interest be abated, and; BE IT RE- SOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91AA66189, in the amount of $74.00 plus all accrued interest be abated, and; BE IT RE- SOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91W202897, in the amount of $382.00 plus all accrued interest be abated and Tax Sale 10- 0339 be cancelled. The treasurer is hereby directed to strike all refer- ence to this mobile home from the records of Warren County, and; BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91AA40973, in the amount of $295.00 plus all accrued interest be abated and Tax Sale 09-0585 be cancelled. The treasurer is hereby directed to strike all reference to this mobile home from the records of Warren County, and; BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby agrees that the taxes on the mobile home of Title Number 91AA41044, in the amount of $67.00 plus all accrued interest be abated. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-358 APPROVE WELLNESS PROGRAM DISPLAY CASE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Wellness Program to build a display case on the second floor of Administration Building to match that on the first floor at or under a cost of $2000.00. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-359 APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO WARREN COUNTY HISTORIC PRESER- VATION COMMISSION BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby moves to appoint Patrick Dunn, 6424 43 'd Ave., Norwalk, IA, 50211 to the Warren County Historic Preservation Commission. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-360 APPROVE FINANCIAL REPORT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the CASH annual fiahcial report for fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 and authorizes the publication of the same. Carried unani- mously. RESOLUTION 10-361 APPROVE LIQUOR LICENSE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves renewing Gabby's Liquor License. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-358 APPROVE WELLNESS PROGRAM DISPLAY CASE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Wellness Program to build a display case on the second floor of Administration Building to match that on the first floor at or under a cost of $2000.00. RESOLUTION 10-362 APPROVE CHANGE ORDER #2 SINCLAIR ARCHITECTS BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the 7 change order requests from Construction by Cambron IIc, with the net amount of change to be $2,773.00. Carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 10-363 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves that the following roads be temporarily closed: Quaker Street between 120  and 128 , effective October 5, 2010 for one day, to fix a culvert, and; Fulton between 73 'd and 78 t, effective October 6, 2010, to thru traffic for ditching, and; Quaker Street between 120 t" and 128% effective October 6, 2010 for one day, to fix a culvert, and; 240 th Ave between Grimes and Geneva, effective October 14, 2010 for one day to fix a culvert. Carried unanimously, RESOLUTION 10-364 APPROVE EASEMENTS REGARDING GREENFIELD SEWER PROJECT BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby moves to approve the Easement between Thomas M. Stein, Fort Des Moines Little league and Warren County regarding Greenfield Plaza Storm Sewer System, and; To approve the Easement between Brenda Sue Robinson and Warren County regarding Greenfield Plaza Storm Sewer System, and; To approve the Ease- ment between Charlie Ruperto as Partner of Father and Son Enterprises and Warren County regarding Greenfield Plaza Storm Sewer System. Car- ried unanimously RESOLUTION 10-365 APPROVE USE OF COURTHOUSE LAWN FOR PARADE & COSTUME PARTY BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Warren County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the request from the City of Indianola to use the Courthouse lawn for the Annual Children's Costume Party and Parade on Saturday, October 30, 2010, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. clean up.
